TD.SC2's Attero looking good for the running of Home Story Cup IV!

Already delayed and heavily behind schedule the U.S qualifier for the Home Story Cup IV is under way. If you're unaware of what the HomeStop Cups are, compare it to both a fun LAN party, but triple the talent, skill and experience, as well as good food in an isolate home and a relaxed attitude. However, keep in mind the prize-pool is a whopping $15,000 and bragging rights within the house for one hell of a night.

What makes the HomeStory Cup shine compared to big leagues is the light attitude, the at-home style of the venue, in fact, it does take place in a house, and the spectators get to see the players in a different light; a more personable one. Crunching numbers now, we find ourselves with: 32 players from over 10 nations, 4 day mainevent, 3 online qualifiers for Europe, Korea and the USA, Barcraft directly below the location, Exclusive catering for the players provided by a professional cook & the best moderators around (thanks TakeTV for the calculations)!

Just above are the players invited (EG's iNcontrol, FnaticMSi's NightEnD, TL's Ret, Quantic's NaNiwa, Empire's Kas and TL's HerO) with many more on the way. The EU qualifiers are done, with eSahara's Naama in first and thus full catering and paid trip to the event, mTw Mindfactory's Dimaga in second wins an invite to the event (under his own expenses) and Millenium's Adelscott taking third away from the player DarkHydra. The Korean Qualifiers will be occuring quite soon. What's left is the U.S Qualifiers which started out with many amazing players such as Vile Gaming's Illusion, Complexity's Catz (Standard), Quantic's Agh, Infinity Seven's Maker and JEcho and many more. It has now come down to the Semi-finals with CheckSix's Major losing against Team Dynamic's Attero 2-1 and Catz being defeated by the free agent viOlet. In order for Attero to qualify for this amazing Cup, he must win one more sets against either Vile Gaming's HasHe or FnaticMSi's KawaiiRice, whichever comes out as the victor amongst these two Terran players. For Attero to get all expenses paid, he will have to defeat viOlet or Infinity Seven's JEcho in the finals.

We wish Attero the best of luck in his endeavors and are very proud of his accomplishments. Replays will be posted shortly and the brackets can be found here: http://www.esl.eu/eu/sc2/1on1/hsciv_us_qualifer/rankings/

Update: Attero takes second place losing to viOlet, but still qualifying for the Homestory Cup IV!
