Dynamic Enters Bad Company 2

While the game has only been out for a week, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has generated quite the buzz both in and out of the Battlefield competitive community. What appeared to be a fun game to pub and nothing more is now shaping up to be a true successor to Battlefield 2 in the competitive aspect. The game is still full of balance issues, connection problems, and a host of bugs as there is no patch available as of yet. And with the limitations that the minimal server control places on gameplay, it's not clear how competition will play out. Several top teams from BF2 have announced their return with Bad Company 2 though, so competition in some sense is sure to take place.
The old BF2 team at Dynamic is also looking closely at this new game. Among the huge list of players lies mixed reactions to BC2, though there is definitely enough interest within Dynamic to put together at least one highly competitive team. The starting roster will most likely look a bit different from the last Dynamic Battlefield outing, but the guys will be putting in just as much, if not more effort this time around. So far all that's been confirmed is the Bad Company 2 Kick-Off Tournament at TWL, an 8v8 Conquest competition spanning several weeks. Other leagues have shown great interest in the game as well, so as soon as they get set up, we will be looking into entering those as well.

CS Team Dropped Due to Inactivity

It comes with sadness that we have decided to shut down our CS team for the rest of the season. With so many roster changes throughout the past few months the solidity of the team came into question. The team would build chemisty and then a week later a change would have to be made. This was hurting the overall performance of the team and we all feel it is best to shut things down for the next month or so and see where things go from there.
I would like to thank the levy, brun, aim, krb, qswitch, and the rest of the players that brought us from main level to invite status. Granted we didn't have a great showing in the top leagues, but we took what we could from it and tried to move forward. The team's biggest accomplishment came when they were invited to play at WCG USA Finals and took home third place and $2500 dollars. On the way drawing with Complexity and even taking down EG.
We will be looking to get back into the CS scene at some point. But as of now we just want to wish the guys the best for all their hard work.
Thanks again from the entire Dynamic Family.
